Due to the overwhelming response to date and sustained daily engagements, the Reimagining Rudee Loop survey has been extended through midnight, Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023. Additionally, two open house public events have been scheduled – one at Rudee Loop and one at the Kempsville Recreation Center.
For those who prefer to provide their input in person, there are two opportunities to do so:
In November 2022, the City Council approved an ordinance to fund an updated housing study and report, which was previously completed in 2016. The study will include VCHR’s analysis of the current housing market and the identification of strategies to address the housing needs in Virginia Beach.

Members of the public who require accessibility accommodations or language interpretation services at the meetings should contact Sharon Shoff at 757-385-5836 or SShoff@vbgov.com at least three business days before the scheduled meeting.
The City of Virginia Beach recognizes that being towed may not be a pleasant experience.
However, we are seeking your feedback on the quality service you received.
Please complete this brief, 5-minute survey to help us better understand how our residents and businesses currently operate their vehicles, knowledge of and interest in EVs, and preferences as to where charging stations might be installed in the future.
At the end of the survey, we will also provide the opportunity to be included in future communications for City planning efforts as it relates to this issue.
